The eye lands at the centre and stays there. A dark navy medallion rises boldly from the brick-red field, edged in ivory and enlivened with muted blue, green, terracotta and ochre. Angular floral forms push outward into deep-blue corner spandrels, while layered borders hold the colour and movement in balance.
