Rhythm defines this rug. Across the deep red field, compact gul-style motifs repeat in close-set diagonal rows, picked out in ivory and dark navy with touches of orange and muted blue. Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from pure wool, the rug follows the Persian Turkoman tradition with a long, balanced format and the settled colour of a vintage textile.
