One-of-a-kind vintage piece

Individually selected for its genuine vintage character, this piece carries a quiet sense of history through its pattern language, colour tone and time-softened textile depth

Pointed garden compartments turn this Bakhtiari rug into a woven orchard. Upright trees, paired blossoms and vase-like stems change from panel to panel in burgundy, burnt orange, indigo, ivory and olive. Because no medallion dominates the field, the eye keeps moving across its floral forms. A wide ivory border of leaves and flowers gives the coloured interior a brighter edge.

In a living or dining space, the compartments offer something to notice from every side. Hand-knotted in Iran with a pure wool pile, this vintage Persian rug carries the distinctive Khesti garden structure associated with Bakhtiari weaving.

Care & Maintenance

  • Vintage rugs should be cared for gently to preserve their age-softened fibres, colour character and handmade structure. Vacuum using a suction-only setting, rotate the rug occasionally for even wear, and blot any marks promptly with a clean cloth rather than rubbing.
  • For deeper cleaning, professional rug cleaning is recommended, especially for vintage handmade rugs, to help protect the wool, dyes and textile character developed over time.

Note

  • Each vintage rug is professionally photographed to represent its colours as accurately as possible, while natural light, pile direction and digital display settings may create subtle variations in tone.
  • Vintage handmade rugs may show gentle tonal variation, age-softened texture and individual textile character developed over time.
  • These natural characteristics are part of the rug’s vintage appeal, giving each piece its own pattern language, colour tone and woven depth.
