Individually selected for its genuine vintage character, this piece carries a quiet sense of history through its pattern language, colour tone and time-softened textile depth

Three diamonds march down the centre of this Afshar rug, their hooked outlines linked across a field of weathered brick red. Each medallion shifts the colour in a different direction—muted blue, ivory, mustard and terracotta—while deep navy side forms and boldly compartmented borders give the design its graphic strength.

The years have left their presence in the softened pile and gentle tonal variation, adding character without obscuring the geometry. Persian hand-knotting shows in the slight shifts of line and scale from motif to motif. Made in Iran from pure wool, this vintage Afshar feels direct, spirited and entirely individual.
