One-of-a-kind hand-knotted piece

No two are alike - each rug carries its own pattern, colour balance and handmade character

The first impression is colour: a vivid brick-red field held within green and navy borders. Then the structure reveals itself. Octagonal guls march in disciplined rows, alternating with cross-shaped motifs whose green arms and blue-and-yellow accents keep the repeat lively. Multiple floral and geometric guard bands give the field a deep, architectural frame.

Guls are among the defining motifs of Turkoman carpet traditions and were historically associated with particular tribal groups. Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from pure wool pile, this rug carries that recognisable design language at a generous scale, balancing tribal geometry with an unusually vivid red-and-green palette.
