What distinguishes this Persian Veramin rug is the way its pattern continues rather than centres. Rosettes spread across the camel-gold field in a Mina Khani lattice, connected by dark branching vines and enlivened with red, indigo and blue. The repetition creates a steady visual rhythm, while layered floral borders draw the many small elements into a beautifully resolved composition.

Mina Khani is one of the designs most closely associated with the Veramin weaving tradition south of Tehran. Here, its intricacy is concentrated within a compact hand-knotted rug that rewards a closer look. Placed beside a bed, at an entrance or within a reading corner, it offers more than a touch of colour: it brings a complete Persian composition into a smaller part of the home.
