No two are alike - each rug carries its own pattern, colour balance and handmade character

Three medallions change character as they travel down the ivory field. Burgundy anchors the outer pair, while the centre opens into rust orange and navy, creating a shift in colour within a balanced structure. Stylised blossoms, branching forms and arrow-like details animate the spaces between them; layered geometric borders hold the composition firmly in place.

Ardabil lies in north-western Iran, where Persian weaving developed close to the Caucasus. Geometric medallions and strongly articulated borders reflect that regional design dialogue. Hand-knotted in Iran, the rug is bold at first glance and increasingly intricate as its details emerge.
