No two are alike - each rug carries its own pattern, colour balance and handmade character

There is something almost calligraphic about this runner. Dark brown lines drift, bend and pause across a ground of natural beige, taupe and grey, interrupted by crosshatched forms and small open diamonds. The asymmetry gives the design its ease; nothing feels mechanically repeated, yet the dark rectangular border keeps the composition contained.

Hand-knotted in Morocco from pure wool pile, the surface preserves the irregularity and tonal movement that make the drawing feel alive. Its restraint is its strength—graphic enough to hold attention, quiet enough for the texture of the wool to remain part of the design.
