A saturated red field carries a sequence of floral diamond medallions, surrounded by angular flowering stems and small blossoms in ivory, turquoise, green and soft pink. Narrow ivory guard bands lead into layered navy and burgundy borders, giving the elongated composition a firm rhythm without crowding its many details.

Hamadan represents a broad Persian village-weaving tradition shaped by communities around the city, rather than one fixed design. Hand-knotted in Iran from wool, this runner reflects that variety through disciplined geometry and lively floral ornament. Its pattern unfolds naturally along a hallway or corridor, bringing warmth, continuity and close-up interest.
