An ivory medallion anchors the intricate blue-grey field of this Fine Bidjar rug. Small rosettes, curved leaves and diamond forms repeat around it, framed by muted red floral borders and pale guard bands. Dark navy corner details give the lighter colours definition.

Hand-knotted in India from pure wool pile, the rug interprets the Bidjar design through careful repetition and layered ornament. The pale centre brings the composition into focus, while the finer motifs reward a closer look.
