Calm from a distance and exacting up close, this Bokhara rug sets orderly rows of olive-green guls across a warm ivory field. Smaller cross-shaped motifs punctuate the intervals, while bands of rosettes, diamond latticework and narrow guard patterns build an intricately layered border.

Hand-knotted in Pakistan from pure wool pile, the rug draws its presence from the disciplined geometry of the Bokhara tradition. Its restrained palette allows every line to register clearly, creating a composition that feels measured from across the room and increasingly detailed at closer range.
