No two are alike - each rug carries its own pattern, colour balance and handmade character

The medallions do not simply repeat; they advance. Each diamond leads into the next through a disciplined procession down the deep red field, its dark navy geometry sharpened by flashes of burnt orange, muted blue and ivory. Dense patterned borders compress the colour at the edges, making the centre appear almost illuminated.

Afghanistan’s Khal Mohammadi tradition is expressed here in hand-knotted pure wool, giving the saturated reds depth and the design a firm, tactile presence. Bold from a distance, the runner rewards a slower look as small shifts in line, colour and spacing reveal the individuality of the weave.
